Have a dinner party coming up but you don’t have time to figure out the menu or shop? MealQueen.com might be the answer you’re looking for. We spoke to co-founder Rafaela Sebestyen about MealQueen and their road to launching the business.
Rafaela and her co-founder had a vision to enhance the cooking experience. Their theory is people like to cook and enjoy the food, but often lack time to plan and prepare for it. If you work long hours, then you’ll know it’s sometimes challenging to find the energy to plan, shop, and cook.
MealQueen.com simplifies the process for you. Using their website you browse the available recipes which are offered by their partners, such as local restaurants. When you find a recipe you like, you select it and then pay for it and the ingredients.
The partner is then sent the information and they prepare your ingredients for pick up the next day.
In our interview we discuss MealQueen’s journey from idea to launch, including their experience with Startup Weekend and Founder’s Institute. Listen in as Rafaela shares her experience while we drink Witkap-Pater Tripel.
